The ferrets are certainly entertaining, and in many ways an inspiration... if only they&#039;d stop trying undo my shoelaces or crawl up my trouser leg when I&#039;m trying to write :-(.

Couldn&#039;t agree more... reading is THE single most important training regime for any writer. It&#039;s something I&#039;m gradually getting to do more of again now as the children get older.
